What is Zekki?
Zekki encourages reflection on well-being and guides to low-threshold services
Zekki is an award-winning digital service that allows young people to reflect on their well-being and receive information about support services tailored to their specific situation. Zekki is intended for 15-25-year-olds and professionals working with them. With it, users can conduct a comprehensive self-assessment of their lives in just a few minutes. For professionals, Zekki serves as a systematic tool for initiating discussions, providing up-to-date information on support services and youth well-being.
Zekki helps answer the question: how are you doing?
Zekki is an anonymous service. The online test can be taken independently, making the evaluation of one’s own life, future planning, and any potential contact with support services entirely up to the young person. Zekki’s results can also be reviewed together with a professional.
What makes Zekki special?
The service system for youth is often perceived as confusing, with needs and services not always aligning. Zekki raises awareness of low-threshold services available to everyone and brings them together in one place. The user-centric digital Zekki service aims to improve the connection between young people and support services, enhance youth well-being, and ensure timely access to support. Zekki encourages seeking help, increases self-awareness about well-being, and recommends suitable support services for each situation. This free, clear, and easy-to-use service is accessible anytime and anywhere.

Zekki proven to increase youth well-being and inclusion
Zekki is based on the 3X10D® life situation assessment tool, developed by Diaconia University of Applied Sciences and grounded in research and expert knowledge. The tool assesses youth satisfaction across 10 key areas of overall well-being, such as health and self-esteem. The 3X10D® tool was developed collaboratively with its target group and professionals working with youth.
ZekkiPro helps verify and develop organizational impact
ZekkiPro is a system created based on the wishes of Zekki.fi users and was launched in spring 2024. It is aimed at organizations that wish to collect well-being data at the individual, group, and organizational levels. Unlike the Zekki.fi application, the ZekkiPro system allows for the collection of well-being data from respondents of all ages, in addition to youth. ZekkiPro offers access to all versions of the 3X10D® assessments, with the option to add questions tailored to an organization’s specific needs.
Respondents’ self-assessments of their own situations are stored in the organization’s dedicated account within the system. This data can then be used to verify changes in well-being and inform evidence-based decision-making within the organization.
